Looking for something great to do with your family this winter?
Why not join RCT's book club?
In February, we will give the first 50 families who purchase tickets to THE VELVETEEN RABBIT a free copy of the book to read together. READ IT SEE IT is a program that encourages families to turn off their televisions and spend time together reading. It is our hope that after reading the book together that you will join us at the theatre to see the story come to life on our stage! Some matinee performances include a talkback where we can all discuss the book and the play together! I hope that you can join the fun.
THE VELVETEEN RABBIT performed on our stage is a musical treat and a classic in children's literature.
This adaptation by James Still with music by Jimmy Roberts captures the very essence of the original story. Through the most modest toy in the nursery, the Velveteen Rabbit earns the love of a young boy and learns about the joys and pain of becoming "real." Margery Williams' book springs to magical life in this enchanting story about love, loss and the meaning of friendship.
